In 2023, Le Petit Prince celebrates its 80th anniversary. To commemorate this emblematic work by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Sofitel celebrates eleven years of partnership with Le Petit Prince and The Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation.
Sofitel Hotels and Resorts across the world will incorporate the rose – an important symbol for “Le Petit Prince” – throughout each establishment. At our Resort, enjoy rose-inspired items, from culinary delights and cocktails to family activities and a sustainable installation at the lobby.
The Kentucky Rose at LeBar
Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa’s “Le Petit Prince” festivities cater to all ages. At LeBar, located at the heart of our palatial Resort with stunning sea views, adults can enjoy the Kentucky Rose, a pink cocktail that pays homage to the titular character’s muse. Crafted by our Mixology team, it is a classic whiskey sour with a honeysuckle twist and rose elixir.

Sustainable Art Installation and Activities
Upon entering the lobby of Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, you will be greeted by an installation of paper roses paying homage to the famous character “Le Petit Prince.” Sofitel’s parent company collaborated with a French paper artist to create the paper rose, while the Heartists® at the Resort added to the installation using upcycled flyers and old magazines to create an eco-friendly masterpiece.
At check-in, young guests will be given a Le Petit Prince activity sheet – embark on a treasure hunt and learn to make paper roses, aligning with the Resort’s dedication to promoting discovery and appreciation of the world, inspired by “Le Petit Prince”.

In Antoine Du Saint-Exupery’s book “Le Petit Prince”, the rose is an important character that teaches the Little Prince about love and innocence before he leaves his planet to explore the world.
Make and take these roses home as a souvenir of your stay at our Resort or add them to our installation at the lobby! And why are we using recycled flyers?
